When launching BetterUp®, you will need to assign licenses to members to the platform in order to start their coaching journey. This article will show you how to grant licenses and send out invitations through the platform.

Steps to complete:
- Sign into the People Analytics Dashboard (PAD)
- Navigate to the Admin tab at the top of the screen.
- In the upper right corner select 'Invite members'
- Select a program you want to invite a new member to and select Continue
- Next, you will be asked to either:
- Select the subscription you would like to use and select the access start date for the member.

- Choose the specific product access
- Choose the length of product access from the dropdown menu or input a custom length of time
- Select 'Add' then 'Continue'
Tip: If you are granting a member access to multiple products, you can select 'Add another experience' and add in the additional products the member should get access to.
- Select the subscription you would like to use and select the access start date for the member.
- Now you can Add Members by inputting your member’s email address selecting 'Continue'
- Email addresses must be separated with a comma or a space
- Review the invitation to ensure all the information is correct and select 'Confirm invitation'
- In this section, you can change the invitation language, schedule the invite to be sent later, and change the time zone that the invite will be sent
- Before confirming, you can' Preview invitation email' to see exactly what the member will see
Once you've completed these steps you will see a pop-up with confirmation that the invitations have been scheduled or sent.
Scheduled invitations will not show within the PAD but members will start to populate within the PAD once the invites have gone out.

A few notes about subscriptions, if you are asked to select one:
- All subscriptions will show an available license count. You cannot invite more members than the available license count of the subscription you selected.
- Each subscription will show when the subscription period ends.
- For a 12 month subscription, this date is when the member’s access would end. If a member is invited once the subscription has started, you will see the length of access the member can receive.
- For a 6 month subscription, a member should be invited at least 6 months before the subscription end date to ensure that the member is able to receive full 6 months of coaching access.
