In this step of the launch planning process you will confirm program configurations to ensure your members have the correct experience.
Key takeaways
- Tailor the member experience to meet the specific needs and goals of your organization
- Align the launch date to the start of your contract to maximize license utilization
- Delay in completing this can result in launch delays
When to do this
Complete the Program Configuration step 4 weeks prior to launch.
Steps to complete
- Confirm your launch date: This is the date that employees will receive their invitations from the BetterUp platform to activate their account and begin onboarding. To ensure you maximize utilization of your licenses, it is best practice to have your launch date aligned with the start date of your contract.
- Finalize your member list: Use this template to create the list of members who will receive coaching at least 2 weeks prior to the start of coaching so that you have enough time to generate excitement through your Engagement Strategy. At a minimum, include their email address in order to create their account. Once complete, send the list to your Implementation Project Manager.
- Confirm the length of coaching: Will members have access to BetterUp for 6 months or 12 months? Our science shows that long term change takes time and we recommend a minimum of 6 months in order to achieve permanent behavior change. Looking for something else? Discuss with your BetterUp account team.
- Enable optional features: Decide if you would like to enable the BetterUp 360 assessment or the Manager Feedback Tool for your program.
- Confirm People Analytics Dashboard (PAD) Admins: Decide who on your team should have access to the PAD to be able to manage licenses and view behavioral data.
