As you prepare to start your BetterUp journey, you'll receive a detailed email from BetterUp that explains the specific offerings of your program and its end date. You'll also receive reminders of your upcoming program end date as it approaches.
After your program ends, you'll still have unlimited access to your assessments, reports, and activities/resources. However, you won't be able to schedule appointments or message your coach(es) anymore. If you'd like to extend your program, we're here to support you and have provided information on how to request an extension within this article.
Program End Date
At the beginning of your company-sponsored program, BetterUp will send you an automated email with the subject line "Get started with BetterUp coaching brought to you by [your organization's name]". This email will contain important information about your program's parameters and end date.
Additionally, you will receive an email reminder from BetterUp when you have 30 days until your program's end date or when you have less than 75 minutes remaining (if on a minutes-limited program), titled "Prepare for your final sessions".
We encourage you to review the "4 Strategies to Maximize Your Final Session" as you prepare for your final session with your coach.
Program Extensions
If you are interested in requesting an extension for your coaching program, please reach out to your internal BetterUp program administrator. Your internal BetterUp program administrator is the person who provided you with the information to sign up for BetterUp. This is typically your company contact within the Human Resources or Learning & Development departments.
If the extension is granted, the partner will update your account and you will receive an email from BetterUp indicating your new program end date. If the extension request has not been approved, you are welcome to contact our Support team as we'd be happy to help provide additional options.
Program extensions are not applicable to BetterUp for Individuals Members.
Pausing Coaching
If you are no longer interested in participating in coaching or you would like to pause coaching, we recommend that you please reach out to your internal BetterUp program administrator to let them know. Your internal BetterUp program administrator is the person who provided you with the information to sign up for BetterUp. This is typically your company contact within the Human Resources or Learning & Development departments.
From there, the internal program lead will be able to adjust your account and advise on the best path forward. Additionally, if you would like to pause coaching, we kindly recommend that you let your BetterUp Coach know as well.
