- An exhaustive, detailed list of available features is provided
How to set up the integration between Microsoft Teams and BetterUp
Use this when you want to make the BetterUp app available for employees to add to their Teams environments from the Microsoft Teams app store. This enables employees to interact with BetterUp within the Teams environment, reducing friction for employees. With the BetterUp app in Microsoft Teams, employees can schedule, reschedule, and cancel coaching sessions, complete coaching session video calls, chat with their BetterUp coaches, and more all without ever leaving Microsoft Teams.
Setup Steps: How-to guide
- Make sure you have adequate admin permissions within MS Teams:
- Access to Microsoft Teams
- Permission to install and manage apps within Teams
- Ability to authenticate within Teams using organizational credentials
- Access the MS Teams Admin Dashboard
- Click on the Teams apps drop down > Manage apps tab.
- Look for the “BetterUp” application
- Enable it by switching the toggle from blocked to allowed.
- (Recommended) To streamline the user experience we recommend granting admin consent to the permissions requested by the app.
-
(Optional) To improve the user experience as a system administrator we recommend pinning the BetterUp App in the users left panel:
- Click on the Teams apps drop down > Setup policies.
- Select the app setup policy of your choosing.
Lastly, add the BetterUp app to the list of pinned apps and place it in the desired order (You may have to wait an hour for these changes to take effect).
