The BetterUp platform supports users who are blind or have low vision, Deaf or hard of hearing, or have other accessibility needs through the following features:
- Screen Reader Compatibility(JAWS, VoiceOver): The platform is compatible with screen readers, providing spoken text output for users who are blind or have low vision.
- Keyboard Navigation Support: Users can navigate the platform entirely by keyboard, without needing a mouse.
- Visual Color Contrast: The platform is designed with sufficient contrast to support users with color blindness or low contrast sensitivity.
- Alternative Text for Images: Images include alternative text, ensuring users who rely on screen readers receive meaningful context.
- Page Zoom: Users can magnify text and interface elements to enhance readability.
- Captions for video content: Videos include captions to support Deaf and hard-of-hearing users.
- Live coaching sessions: We offer transcripts for coaching sessions which are delivered afterward on supported programs. Live captioning during a session on the BetterUp platform is not supported. The BetterUp web app meets WCAG-AA compliance and undergoes regular third-party accessibility audits to maintain alignment with the latest WCAG standards.
