You are able to update your site language, your coaching language, and your time zone directly in the BetterUp platform.
Updating Your Language
You can update your language preferences by following these steps:
- Log in to BetterUp and click on your avatar (on the top right of the page)
- Select Account and scroll down to the "Preferences" sectionÂ
- Select the language of your preference from the "Site language" drop-down and/or the "coaching language" drop-down
- Click Save changes
*Please note that if you are on a Manage coaching program, you will only see the options to update your language to English, French, Spanish, or Chinese.
đź•’ Time Zones
Session times in BetterUp dynamically adjust to the time zone you're currently in based on your computer or browser settings. You do not need to manually update your time zone within your BetterUp account—this setting is informational only and does not affect how times are displayed or scheduled.
When you view your Coach’s availability, times are shown in your current time zone, making it easy to schedule without doing any time conversions.
If you add a session to your personal calendar (like Google Calendar or Outlook), that calendar event will also reflect your current local time zone based on your device settings.
Important Notes:
If you're traveling or working from a different location, session times in BetterUp and your calendar will automatically adjust.
To change how times are displayed, you must update your device's time zone settings (either in your computer’s system preferences or your browser).
There’s no need to worry about “doing the math”—BetterUp handles time zone conversion automatically so you can book confidently wherever you are.
