Many executives rely on their Executive Assistants (EAs) to help manage their schedules. BetterUp supports this by allowing approved EAs to schedule, reschedule, and cancel 1:1 coaching sessions on behalf of the executive they support.
How to schedule coaching sessions
- First log into your BetterUp account on the scheduler experience, then select the Executive that you’d like to schedule coaching sessions for
- If you’re unsure how to switch to the scheduler experience, please see instructions on https://support.betterup.com/hc/en-us/articles/44213672737307-Executive-Assistant-EA-Support-Guide#h_01KC2A10TMDKX4DD6DEQ0CZGM8
- Select New Session on the bottom right hand corner
- Select the Coach you’d like to schedule a session with
- Select the date and time of the session
- Click Confirm
*Please note that all scheduling and sessions must take place on the BetterUp platform. Coaches may not conduct sessions via external meeting links.
Can I schedule recurring coaching sessions for my Executive?
No, recurring coaching sessions cannot be scheduled from the EA scheduler experience.
Can I schedule sessions at a different date/time than what is listed?
Coaching sessions may only be scheduled during the dates/times listed, as this is the current availability of the selected Coach. Coaching sessions cannot be scheduled when a Coach does not have any listed availability.

I’m trying to schedule a coaching session, but there is no future availability. Why can’t I schedule a session?
Sessions beyond your Executive’s program end date will not be available for scheduling, and this may be why you’re not seeing any future availability.
