Please note that our BetterUp for Individuals coaching offering is currently winding down and is no longer able to accept new or returning members or offer additional coaching through this program.
You may cancel at any time through the Subscription page within the Settings of your account. Cancellation is for the next monthly payment and is not retroactive. For example; if your payment date is July 15 and you cancel the account on August 2, the account will automatically cancel after August 14 and a new payment will not be processed for the next month of service.
Refunds are not available for unused sessions, time, or services. If you cancel after your renewal subscription payment is processed, you may finish the month of service utilizing the available coaching sessions and curated content that matches your profile. Any remaining unused flex sessions will expire on the listed date in your account.
Canceling via Web Browser
To cancel via web browser, please follow the instructions below:
- Navigate to your BetterUp account on a web browser
- Click on your avatar on the top right corner of the page and click Account
- Click Subscription
- Click Cancel
- Proceed to Cancelation
Upon cancellation, the system will ensure your next renewal subscription payment is not processed. You will maintain access to your account and remaining coaching sessions for the duration of the billing cycle. All future scheduled monthly sessions beyond the cancelation date will be canceled. Please note that we cannot guarantee the same Coach will be available if you choose to return to BetterUp coaching in the future.

Canceling Via BetterUp Mobile App
To cancel via BetterUp app, please follow the instructions below. Please note that canceling via the mobile app is currently only available on iOS devices. If you're using an Android device, please follow the steps above to cancel via web browser.
- From your BetterUp App, click on your avatar at the top left to open Settings
- Under Subscription, click Manage subscription >
- Under Your Subscription, click Manage subscription > once again
- Under Manage subscription, select Cancel >
- You must answer the cancellation questions provided to process the cancellation request
- After answering the questions provided, click Next to follow any remaining prompts to confirm your cancellation
