As of February 1, 2026, flex sessions are no longer available for purchase. Flex sessions purchased prior to February 1, 2026, are non-refundable and are available for use for 1 year from the date they were purchased. If your BetterUp for Individuals subscription plan has been cancelled, you may continue to utilize currently available flex sessions until their listed expiration date.

Locating Your Flex Sessions
To locate your Flex sessions within the platform, please follow the below steps:
- Navigate to your BetterUp account on a web browser
- Click on your avatar at the top right corner of your screen
- Click Account
- Click Subscription
- Under Your Subscription, you'll be able to view your remaining Flex Sessions.
Flex Session Usage
If your plan includes 30-minute monthly sessions, and you've purchased a 45-minute Flex session, you can toggle between the 30- and 45-minute session lengths when scheduling.
When scheduling, ensure that you select the correct session length, either 30-minutes or 45-minutes. If you've purchased a 45-minute Flex session and are on a plan that includes 30-minute monthly sessions, you will receive an error message when scheduling your Flex session if you do not switch the session length to the 45-minute option.
To switch between session lengths, please follow the below steps:
- Log into the BetterUp platform via a web browser
- From the Schedule tab, select New session
- Select your Coach
- Under the calendar, you'll see an option to choose between 30 min and 45 min

5. Select 45 min
6. Select the date and time of your session
7. Click Confirm
If your plan includes 45-minute monthly sessions, and you've purchased an additional 45-minute Flex session, the platform will automatically use any available monthly sessions first before using your Flex session(s).
Locating the Expiration Date of Flex Sessions
To locate the expiration date of flex sessions within the platform, please follow the below steps:
- Navigate to your BetterUp account on a web browser
- Click on your avatar at the top right corner of your screen
- Click Account
4. Click Subscription
5. Under Your Subscription, you'll be able to view your Flex Sessions. Select View your flex sessions
6. Here you will be able to view the expiration dates for all flex sessions available on your account!
