Prior to sharing your screen, it's essential to prepare your desktop to safeguard your privacy and maintain a professional environment. Please take a moment to review and close or minimize any unrelated or personal items, such as emails, documents, notes, or private conversations, that you do not wish to be visible during the session.
Initiating Screen Sharing (Desktop Only)
To share your screen during a BetterUp Video session from your laptop or desktop computer, follow these straightforward steps:
- Join Your Session: Log in to the BetterUp platform and enter your scheduled video session.
- Access Screen Sharing: Look for the screen sharing icon, which is located on the bottom control panel of the BetterUp Video interface.
- Select What to Share: Upon clicking the screen sharing icon, you will be prompted to choose what part of your screen to share. You can select from the following options:
- Your entire screen, for a full desktop view.
- A specific application window, if you wish to share content from a particular program.
- A particular browser tab, ideal for sharing web-based content without exposing other tabs or applications.
