BetterUp offers a diverse and comprehensive library filled with articles, activities, podcasts, videos, and other multimedia content tailored to various developmental topics. Whether you're looking to deepen your knowledge or expand your skills, our resources are designed to enhance your coaching experience.
All members have the ability to freely browse and search the resource library found under the Discover tab in both the BetterUp app and website. Here, resources are personalized according to your selected focus areas to ensure relevance and impact.
How to Browse and Search for Resources:
- Click on 'Discover' on the navigation bar.
- To browse by category, scroll to 'Explore by topic' on mobile or 'Browse categories' on the web.
- To search by keyword, enter your terms in the search bar and refine results using the 'Filter' option.
Assigned Resources
Coaches can directly assign resources to you, which can be found directly in the platform by following the steps below:
- Log in to your BetterUp account
- Select the Coaching tab
- Hover over your Coach's card and click 'View coach.'
- Under 'From my Coach,' you’ll find the resources shared by your Coach
Here’s how you can manage these:
- View: Click on the resource to open it.
- Complete: Mark a resource as complete by selecting 'Mark Complete' from the ellipses (...) menu, removing it from the 'Up Next' section.
- Dismiss: If you choose not to engage with an assigned resource, select 'Don’t show this card' or 'Dismiss' to remove it.
Saving Resources for Later
To save any resource for easy access:
- On the app, tap the '+' icon. A checkmark will confirm it's saved.
- On the web, click the bookmark icon. A change in color from white to black indicates the resource is saved.
Note: The icon to save will not appear on resources on your homepage. Please go to your coach's profile and view assigned resources or search for the resource from the Discover tab to save.
Locating Saved Resources
- Open the BetterUp app or website and select the bookmark icon at the top.
- Choose from resources assigned by your coach or those you've discovered yourself.
All saved resources, along with reports and completed activities, remain accessible even after your program concludes. Note: BetterUp for Individuals members must maintain an active subscription to access these features.
Troubleshooting
If you're having trouble locating or accessing assigned resources:
- Check both completed and saved sections under 'From my Coach'.
- For persistent issues, reviewing completed resources may reveal items mistakenly marked as complete.
By leveraging the extensive resources available on BetterUp, you can significantly enrich your learning journey and achieve your personal and professional development goals more effectively.
